Role Playing - Dead??

Ugh, I'm having the hardest time finding an active role play forum. I used to role play a lot a couple years ago and had no problem finding a forum to play in, both with people I knew in real life and online people. But now no matter where I turn now I find that all online communities seem to be falling inactive. The old forums I used to frequent have all kind of died.

I don't know whats made me what to rp again, but I kind of have this urge to play again. If for no other reason than to get it outta my system, haha =(

Oh well... I'll keep looking and hope for the best. Maybe I should try to make my own community?

Title: The Very Secret Diary
Link: http://www.sugarquill.net/read.php?storyid=1026&chapno=1
Summary: 'His d-diary!' Ginny sobbed. 'I've b-been writing in it, and he's been w-writing back all year -' This story was written prior to the release of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Status: Complete

One of the best fics I've ever read, I just had to hop on over here to share it  as soon as I finished reading it. Not only is it well written, but the characters are true to their original published counterparts. The whole story is written as diary entries to Riddle and follows the story of the second Harry Potter book, Chamber of Secrets from the moment Ginny first opened and wrote to Tom. If you've got the time and like Harry Potter, then I'll tell you now its totally worth checking out.

So I went back to my old fanfiction account and decided to erase everything. Actually I left one thing up, but its only cause... fine I admit it, it was the only story that got any significant attention on the ff community. I'm lame fine, but that one will probably be wiped too someday soon. Its odd but the only characters I like in that story are Brook's team, though not the girl herself. I feel like they were the only ones that showed themselves to be what I imagined, the rest of the cast are rather odd. They need reworking... The whole story needs reworking but I'm not sure if I have the patience to go through all that again lol.

Fic's are kind of an on off thing with me, normally I don't bother with them. Its a pain trying to find anything halfway decent in that massive spam dump of a site, but every so often the mood strikes to just sit down and rummage around. Lately my old obsession with Yu-Gi-Oh has kind of resurfaced so that’s what I've been looking at. I found some really good ones if anyone’s interested, their all on my fav's list on ff.net, but I'll post a couple links here too.

If anyone reading this knows of any good reads please feel free to suggest! I really dont mind the genera, but what I do care about is if the story is well written and their in character.

Title: Sensations
Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3404787/1/Sensations
Summary: He could only know his boy by the touches on the Puzzle. But he knew that whoever it was that was putting it together was his. And no one harmed what was his.
Status: Complete

Review: Its really well written, its a shame the author didn't continue this. The story takes place in the first chapters of the manga, the anime equivalent would be the season that was never released in the dub (I think people call it season 0). If your unfamiliar with those first stories, Yami was kinda a little crazy in them =P Half his punishments to people that did him wrong were overkill. It wasn't until later on in the series that he started lightening up a little, probably because of Yugi.

Title: Cards and Kittens
Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4290624/1/Cards_and_Kittens
Summary: Kittens get into everything. Yugi's other self learns this the hard way.
Status: Complete

Review: Its.... just cute >P

Title: Being Dead Ain't Easy
Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1292024/1/Being_Dead_Aint_Easy
Summary: Tragedy strikes. Joey Wheeler is gone forever. Or is he? Joey POV. Post Duelist Kingdom AU. Will eventually be sort of Seto/Joey.
Status: Complete

Review: The story is kind of strange but that's what makes it all the more interesting. The author manages to get the characters personalities right and pulls them through a very different sort of story from what you would normally find  in this fandom. Worth Checking out.

I've been meaning to get a blog for ages, but I never got around to it cause well... I always thought I'd probably just never update it. But that shouldn't stop me from trying, right? Maybe I just need to push myself a little and it'll just 'click' for me.

First things first tho, I gotta get me an icon...
